I gone to Hong Kong Pearl for years! Their Chinese food is the best around here. There is often a wait for dine in, so be prepared to wait a little bit for a table. I have never had a problem with ordering either as long as you call ahead. My food has always been ready when I pick it up. I also order my food with No MSG since they do use it to cook.

After eating at this local Bistro for many years and enjoying it, tonight we were deeply disappointed. Upon arrival we were ushered into what during the summer is an outdoor patio. The windows are temporary Plexiglas, the ceiling seemed to be thick awnings. The temperature outside was in the forties. They have a forced hot air unit trying to keep the place warm. When it was on you needed artificial tears to keep your eyes from drying out, when it was off a cool breeze froze your feet. Service was wonderful as ever. As far as the food, I feel the quality has diminished. The broccoli rabe was under cooked and extremely bitter. The Ravioli tasted as if it came out of a supermarket freezer. The Veal Marsala had a very weak flavor as compares to previous trips. The New York Strip Sirloin was wonderful. The Mussels appetizer was excellent. The whipped mashed potatoes were so salty as to be uneatable. If you need to eat here in the winter, make sure you get a table inside!
